Red a-line dress
Oh I felt like I was in baby dress heaven when I stumbled upon this. I am typically one of those swap meet shoppers that goes home empty handed... not this time! This is an original vintage a-line dress, not one of those you find on etsy with new fabric. It is in PERFECT condition. The fabric, ric-rack, and all the way to the buttons, I can not believe I own this. If you love this, wait until you see tomorrows dress!

This is just the sort of thing I would have loved to dress my daughter in when she was younger.
looking forward to tomorrow's dress! hahaha... you are good at finding great outfits, esp that sailor's outfit?? i think i had a matching dress when i was around your nephew's age. i wonder if it's the same maker? (no longer have that dress though!)
That is cute, and I do love it! I love all little girl dresses (especially vintage) and since I only have my son, I guess I'll just have to dress dolls, or hope for a granddaughter some day!!
If only I had a little girl...

These vintage baby dresses are what inspired me to get back to sewing! Love it. It's gorgeous! I remember making my very first dress from a vintage pattern when I was in 2nd grade. I gave it to my cabbage patch doll...

Yes! That is to cute! That's why I love making Real pillowcase dresses! That's have the fun. I'm not a big fan of the pillowcase "style" dresses with the new fabric either! I like finding vintage and retro pillowcases, then turning them into fabulous little dresses! Here's to the REAL thing!
Cheers~Stevie
