My first upcycled dress

I had bought this a year or so ago and still claim it as my ultimate favorite. It has an apron skirt attached and ties in the back. It opens up , as you can slightly see that it is not attached at the bottom. The fabric is very bright still and has so much character for being vintage. There is so much detail and style to this dress, it amazes me.

I will post another item tomorrow, so drop back in.

Oh my goodness--SO precious! Being that you are a designer of recycled things, wanted to mention the book "The Art of Manipulating Fabric" by Colette Wolff. It is such a great resource for re-working things; an endless source for creative ideas. There is a picture of it on my clothrevisited blog--check it out! And you GO girl! Encore, encore :+)

So cute! My brain immediately thought about upcycling all the old hankies I have and turning them into little girl dresses.
